I gave you my heart, thinking you'd protect it.

But you dropped it, like it never mattered.

You said forever, but left me halfway.

Now every breath feels heavy,

Every smile is fake.

People ask me why I’ve changed,

But how do I explain?

The one I trusted the most,

Became the reason for all my pain.

मैंने तुम्हें दिल सौंपा, ये सोचकर कि तुम इसका ख्याल रखोगे,

पर तुमने ऐसे गिरा दिया, जैसे इसका कोई मोल ही न हो।

तुमने 'हमेशा साथ' कहा था, पर आधे रास्ते में छोड़ दिया।

अब हर सांस बोझ लगती है,

हर मुस्कान बस एक दिखावा है।

लोग पूछते हैं मैं इतना बदल क्यों गया,

पर मैं कैसे समझाऊँ?

जिस पर सबसे ज्यादा भरोसा किया,

वही मेरी तकलीफ़ की वजह बन गया।
